Booking & Scheduling

After you purchase your preferred Embroidery Course Formula, I will contact you to schedule your private 1-to-1 sessions at the studio. Each session typically lasts between 1h30 and 3h, and depending on the selected formula, one or more sessions may be required to complete your course.

Once the details are confirmed, your workshop is officially booked! You’ll receive all the practical information—location, schedule, and preparation notes. Meanwhile, I’ll prepare the materials, gather the curated kit, and make sure everything is ready for a smooth, hands-on learning experience.

The Day of the Course: What to Bring

Preparation: Please bring your reading glasses (if required) and a clear willingness to learn! All specialized materials, tools, and the full kit are provided at the studio.

Multi-Session Logistics: If your chosen formula requires more than one session, you will take the embroidery frame (approx. 90 cm x 70 cm) home with you. This ensures you can complete structured practice homework between sessions, which is essential for mastering techniques before moving on.

Course Validity and Rescheduling Policy Validity

Each course formula is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. All sessions must be completed within this period.

Rescheduling: Please note that private sessions require a significant time commitment for preparation. Requests to cancel or reschedule a confirmed private session must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the session being forfeited, except in cases of Force Majeure (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale).

Yes. No previous embroidery experience is required. I’ll guide you through the basics step by step, from mounting the embroidery frame to learning how to use the Lunéville hook (also known as a tambour hook). You can join the course as a complete beginner and learn haute couture embroidery from scratch.

The courses are scheduled around your availability. There are no fixed course dates or hours: you and I arrange each session according to our respective schedules. Courses are usually held Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 8:00 pm, with some flexibility when needed.

The embroidery courses take place at my private studio in Toulouse, France. A few days before your first session, I’ll send you all the practical information you need to find the studio easily, whether you’re coming by public transport or by car.

Just you! All my embroidery courses are 1-to-1, so you receive my full attention throughout every session. I guide you through each technique, give you personalised feedback, and correct your gestures when needed, so you can understand the techniques clearly and learn them correctly.

Each embroidery session lasts between 1 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time to explore the techniques for that session and for you to practise them with my guidance before continuing your embroidery project at home.

Yes. Practising at home between sessions is an essential part of the course. During each session, we usually explore 2 to 4 embroidery techniques, but mastering them requires regular practice. You’ll therefore have some work to continue at home, at your own pace, so you can practise the techniques and gradually progress with your embroidery project.

Very little! You only need to bring a pair of scissors and your glasses, if you need them for close-up work. Everything else is provided. I lend you an embroidery frame for the duration of the course, and your embroidery kit, included with the course, contains all the supplies you need, including the Lunéville hook, beads, threads, sequins, and other materials.

Yes. If you’re unable to attend, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so I can rearrange the session and adjust my schedule accordingly. This notice allows me to keep the course flexible while making sure we both have the time we’ve set aside for your learning.

What is the difference between your embroidery courses and a traditional embroidery school?

If I had to sum it up in three words: flexibility, personalisation, and full attention.

Unlike a traditional group embroidery class, my courses are truly 1-to-1. There is only you and me during the session. I stay right in front of you, on the other side of the embroidery frame, guiding you throughout the lesson, correcting your gestures, giving you immediate feedback, and helping you whenever you encounter a difficulty.

The schedule is also entirely adapted to you. Rather than following a fixed timetable, we arrange each session according to our respective availability. You also practise at home at your own pace, and we schedule the next session once you are ready to move forward. Whether you need three days or three weeks to complete your practice, there is no rush.

The goal is simple: you learn at your rhythm, with my full attention, and progress according to your own needs.
