The bespoke creation service is specially designed to transformyour ideas into magic.
When you create a piece exclusively with me, you have the guarantee that this creation is an extension of you, your personality and your emotions. Each piece reflects your soul.
The steps of a made-to-measure creation
The concept
During the initial discussion, usually by e-mail or telephone/Zoom, the details of the artwork to be commissioned will be determined (such as subject, size, colours, price, desired completion date, etc).
If necessary, Sofia will sketch a few drawings to illustrate the discussion, under a confidentiality clause.
The quote
Once all the details have been worked out, a personalised quote is provided with the proposed technical solution: design, colours and materials.
If the quotation is accepted, an order contract is drawn up and exchanged, together with an invoice for the deposit.
Production of the order will only begin once the deposit has been paid and the contract has been signed and returned.
The manufacturing process
Sofia will start making the work, and will send frequent updates to monitor progress.
The verification
Once the final work has been completed, the digital images are sent to the client for approval.
Once approved, the invoice for the final payment will be issued.
The delivery
Once the final invoice has been paid, the work is delivered/shipped to the buyer.
Deadlines
Commissioned creations and works of art generally take between 1 and 6 months, depending on the size of the work and Sofia’s work schedule at the time.
Contract
A contract is necessary to formalize the order for bespoke creations / works of art, and to guarantee the respect of both parties.
The contract includes all the details discussed, such as the subject, size and medium of the creation/work, the price, payment due dates, and so on.
Price
The price of an order for a bespoke creation or work of art is established and agreed during the initial conversation with the customer.
The price will be based on the size and complexity of the piece and will be consistent with other comparable creations at the time of sale. There are no additional charges for a piece ordered, unless changes are requested by the customer after the contract has been signed.
- 50% of the agreed purchase price (non-refundable deposit) is paid when the order contract is signed.
Work on the commissioned work begins once this first deposit has been paid. - The remaining 50% is paid on completion and before handover or delivery of the commissioned work.
Approximate prices
The prices given below correspond to the most common requests.
Please note that the prices given are for guidance only: each creation is studied on a case-by-case basis. The final price of each creation will be based on the size and complexity of the embroidery and will be consistent with other comparable works by Sofia at the time of sale.
- Embroidery of initials on your support: from 80€.
- Embroidery of logo or similar on your support: from 120€.
- Phrase embroidery on your stand: from 150€.
- Embroidery of an image or drawing: from €200.
- Embroidered painting: from 300€.
Delivery
If the customer is based in Toulouse (France), Sofia can deliver your creation in person, by appointment.
If hand delivery is not possible, arrangements will be made for the work to be professionally packaged and shipped at the customer’s expense. Insurance covering loss or damage in transit is also available.
Items delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are invoiced at destination and are the responsibility of the person receiving the goods. Please contact your local customs office for more details before ordering if you are concerned.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I order a work that is similar to another?
Although all my works of art are unique, it is possible to draw inspiration from my previous creations for made-to-measure commissions. So if you fancy a particular creation, contact me to reproduce the piece or modify it to your taste.

Can I order a cheaper or smaller version of an existing work?
I may be able to create a smaller-scale version of an existing work. Sometimes this will be possible without any major changes to the design; other times, the reduction in scale will distort the final rendering and will need to be reviewed.
This will have to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if I don't like the final work of art?
If in the end you don’t like the final work and don’t want to keep it, you have the right to refuse the job. In this case, I keep the work and the non-refundable deposit.
I don't live in France, is it still possible to request a made-to-measure creation?
Yes, I work for both French and international clients. Distance is not a constraint. However, you will need to anticipate additional delivery (and customs, if applicable) costs.
