Craftsmanship & Values

At Delta V Créations, every embroidery begins with an idea and takes shape through patience, precision, and skilled handwork. Laura draws on the French haute couture embroidery tradition, combining techniques learned through specialist training with her own creative vision.

The Art of French Haute Couture Embroidery

French haute couture embroidery is a craft built on years of practice, a trained eye, and a remarkable degree of precision. Each stitch, bead, and sequin must be carefully considered to achieve the intended result.

Among its traditional techniques is Lunéville embroidery, a form of tambour embroidery practised with the Lunéville hook. The embroiderer works on the reverse side of the fabric, using the hook to form chain stitches while beads or sequins are fed from the other side.

Since the decorative side remains out of view during the process, the work relies on a highly trained hand and a precise understanding of how each stitch will appear. The embroidered result is revealed when the frame is turned over.

The technique requires coordination, control, and countless hours of practice to master.

“Training at École Lesage opened my eyes to the extraordinary level of skill behind French haute couture embroidery and the exquisite elegance of the craft. I fell in love with it, and it confirmed that this was the craft I wanted to dedicate myself to.”

Precision & Craftsmanship

For Laura, the difference is in the detail. With her engineering background, precision comes naturally, and she pays close attention to proportions, placement, materials, and finish. Some elements are planned down to the millimetre, while the embroidery itself leaves room for the adjustments and decisions that come with working by hand.

From the first design to the final stitch, Laura personally and exclusively hand-embroiders the pieces created in her studio. Each commission receives her full attention, with techniques and materials chosen to suit the design, the fabric, and the intended result.

“Words cannot describe the magnificent work done at Delta V Créations. The delicacy, the craftsmanship, the perfect finishes… make each of their creations a jewel in itself. I will not miss the opportunity to order exclusive designs for my upcoming events; they are always a sure bet.”

Preserving a Living Craft

Traditional embroidery techniques carry generations of accumulated knowledge. Keeping them alive means more than learning the gestures. It means understanding the materials, respecting the process, and continuing to put those skills into practice in a changing world.

Through her bespoke commissions, artistic textile works, and embroidery teaching, Laura contributes in her own way to the continuation of this craft. Her work brings traditional techniques into conversation with contemporary ideas, allowing them to evolve while preserving the skill at their heart.

A commitment to Excellence

Laura believes that quality speaks for itself. Every piece deserves careful consideration, from the choice of materials to the smallest finishing detail. She strives to create embroidery that feels balanced, beautifully made, and personal to the individual or design it was created for.

“For me, excellence is not about adding more. It’s about being intentional throughout the process, always looking to improve, taking the time needed, and giving each creation the care it deserves.”

Crafted with care, made to be treasured

Whether created for a wedding, a couture garment, or a framed artwork, embroidery can carry a meaning that lasts far beyond the making itself. Laura’s aim is to create pieces that feel personal to their owners, to be worn, displayed, and treasured for years to come.
