Discover Bridal Veil Embroidery

The magical touch of embroidery

A wedding dress already carries a strong sense of identity. Embroidery can make it even more personal, whether through a meaningful motif, a discreet embellishment or a design created specifically to complement the dress.

You can include the most personal of touches into your bridal look: A favourite flower, a meaningful place, a memory or a symbol that has a special significance to you. The embroidery can then be shaped around your dress, your wedding aesthetic and the way you want to feel when you wear it.

A wedding dress is worn for a day, but remembered for a lifetime. The embroidery created especially for it can become a small but deeply personal part of the memory of that day for years to come.

Bridal Veil Embroidery

A veil offers one of the most beautiful ways to introduce a personal detail into a wedding look.

Your veil can be beautifully personalised with initials, names, a wedding date, a meaningful phrase or a bespoke arrangement, all hand-embroidered directly onto the tulle, for a result that is uniquely yours.

“It is an immense pleasure to be part of one of the most important days in someone’s life. Being able to transform a bride’s emotions into an embroidery that becomes part of her dream dress is a true honour.”

Craftsmanship

Laura uses traditional French haute couture techniques with a contemporary twist to create a superior finish.

Tambour beading is a rare craft that requires a very high level of experience and skill. The embroiderer works on the reverse side of the fabric, using the Lunéville hook to form chain stitches while beads or sequins are fed from underneath. The result only becomes visible when the embroidery frame is turned over, revealing the finished couture embroidery.

One embroidery, two approaches

Your embroidery is created with the finished wedding dress in mind, so that it can be seamlessly incorporated into the design. Depending on the fabric, construction and design of the dress, the embroidery may be worked directly onto the dress fabric before the gown is assembled, or created separately on fine tulle as an appliqué to be incorporated later.

Laura will guide you through the most suitable approach according to your dress, your embroidery and the way the finished piece needs to come together.

If you have already chosen your dressmaker, Laura can work alongside them to ensure the embroidery is suited to the design of your gown.
