A fascination with the Universe

Some sources of inspiration are difficult to explain. For Laura, the universe has always been one of them.

The immensity of space, the mathematics hidden in nature and the extraordinary phenomena that govern our existence awaken a sense of wonder that never seems to fade. Through her artistic embroidery, Laura explores these fascinations, giving form to ideas that begin with a question, an observation or a moment spent looking beyond the familiar.

Where precision meets wonder

With a background in aerospace engineering, Laura has a particular appreciation for the structures, proportions and mathematical relationships that shape the world around us. Her eye is drawn to the harmony of geometry, the behaviour of light and the details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

In embroidery, this fascination finds a different language. Thread, beads, crystals and carefully chosen materials become a means of exploring these ideas, while the precision of the design meets the freedom of working by hand. Each artwork offers a glimpse of the extraordinary through the tangible beauty of textile.

A little bit of magic

Created in Laura’s Toulouse studio, each textile artwork brings an idea from the imagination into the physical world, through the careful interplay of stitches, textures and light. Designed to be lived with and discovered over time, these pieces invite a closer look at the beauty hidden within the familiar, and a moment to reconnect with the sense of wonder that inspired them.

Haute couture embroidery may take from a few days to several weeks, while commissioned textile artworks may require one to two months or longer. The actual timeline depends on the scope of the project and Laura’s schedule. For wedding commissions, the event date should be discussed at the initial enquiry to allow sufficient time for the creation.

Clients in Toulouse can arrange personal handover by appointment. Other commissions are carefully packaged and shipped at the client’s expense. All shipments are insured. Deliveries outside the European Union may be subject to import duties or taxes payable by the recipient.

Once the design, scope, quotation, and timeline have been agreed, a written agreement confirms the details of your commission. A 50% deposit secures the order, with the remaining balance due before delivery or handover. Full payment upfront can also be arranged.
