The Story of this project

Created for Z., Lyra is a minimalist embroidered bridal veil personalised with her future family name, a secret she chose to reveal to her husband-to-be on their wedding day.

With no embellishment on the original veil, the name was embroidered in a delicate, rounded script, following the edge of the tulle in one continuous, understated gesture.

This project illustrates the versatility of bespoke bridal veil embroidery: any name, initial, meaningful phrase or motif can be created in the font and style chosen by the bride, and positioned to suit her veil.

Hand-embroidered in France, Lyra transforms a single name into an intimate detail carrying a story of love, anticipation and a new beginning.
